The Delta Blues Museum Education and Arts Program held in conjunction with the festival is also a free event funded by the Coahoma County Tourism Commission. It takes place inside the Delta Blues Museum:

Friday, August 11
10:45 a.m. -Charles Wsir Johnson discusses African Instruments and the Blues
12 noon - James Segement, "The Unknown Wolf"
1 p.m. - Break
1:30 p.m. - An oral history tribute to Frank Frost, Little Jeno Tucker, Wade Walton and Early Wright will feature a panel of family members coordinated by John Ruskey
3:30 p.m. - Michael "Dr. Mike" James and the Delta Blues Museum students will present a blues workshop

Saturday, August 12
9 a.m. - Dick Lourie, "Blues and Poetry"
10 a.m. - Lane Wilkins, "Blues in the Classrooms"
11 a.m. - Billy Williams and the Delta Blues Museum Education students presenting a blues workshop.
