Sunflower Fest's Thanksgiving Eve party

Among the talented blues musicians performing before a packed house at Ground Zero Blues Club for the Sunflower River Blues Festival's annual Thanksgiving Eve party is Howlin' Madd Bill Perry. The event is the festival's popular fund-raiser supporting free admission at the Sunflower Festival. The 23rd annual celebration is scheduled Aug. 6-8, 2010. Other bands on stage were Razor Blade; Cedric Burnside and Lightnin' Malcolm.

Popular Clarksdale blues artist - Daddy Rich takes center stage at Ground Zero Blues Club Thanksgiving Eve for the Sunflower Festival's annual holiday party. Backing him up is another hometown musician, Marshall Drew. Superstar rock vocalist Robert Plant, who was in the Delta to speak at the Tutwiler Blues Trail marker unveiling honoring W. C. Handy earlier in the day, stopped by Ground Zero to lend support to the Sunflower Festival fund-raiser.
