SUNFLOWER FEST’S THANKSGIVING EVE PARTY TO FEATURE SEVEN BANDS PLUS GILT-EDGE PRIZES

Party tickets for the Sunflower River Blues Festival’s annual Thanksgiving Eve extravaganza at Ground Zero not only promise dynamite music by seven bands, but also gilt-edge prizes, says Melville Tillis, festival co-chairman.

“Three lucky blues fans will be taking away early holiday gifs: an HD flat-screen television, a $300 all-weekend pass for four guests under the 2011 Sunflower VIP tent, and $100,” says Tillis.

Performing will be the TCB Blues Band, Second to None Blues Band, Daddy Rich, Deuce & a Quarter, All Night Long Band, Terry “Big T” Blues Band, and Nathaniel Kimble.

Hours for the party on Wednesday, Nov. 24, are from 8 p.m. – 12 midnight.

Admission is $10, and tickets are available from Sunflower River Blues Association members and at the Greyhound Bus Station in downtown Clarksdale.
